John Stuart plays a police detective which leads him to a spooky old house one evening that appears to be desolate. There he stumbles onto a vagrant (Leon M. Lion), a woman (Anne Grey) and a corpse.

The tension rises when a group of would be gents come looking for some information they think one of the trio might have.

Its a "whodunit mystery" mixed with shifting alliances.
